Sauna, hot tub & cold plunge etiquette
What do I need to bring with me to a session?
Swimwear (we suggest you arrive wearing yours to save time changing)
Large towel to dry yourself with after your session
Small towel to sit on in the sauna (essential so please don’t forget)
Clean pair of sandals or sliders
Water bottle
Robe (optional to stay cosy if you’d like to sit around and relax)
Plastic bag to take home your wet swimwear
What clothing should I wear to use the facilities?
Easy to change, comfortable, loose clothes you can move in. Wear your swimwear underneath to save time changing.
How long should I stay in the cold plunge?
We recommend between 30 seconds up to a few minutes per dip, depending on your unique needs.
Remember, you don’t have to use the cold plunge if you don’t want to and there’s always the cooling shower under the cherry tree if you prefer!
How long should I stay in the sauna?
We recommend between 10-15 minutes at a time with a combination of cold plunge/shower and/or relaxation outside in-between sauna time.
What else do I need to consider before attending a session?
Please don’t wear fake tan, moisturiser or other skin products as these will disrupt the balance of the water in the hot tub and cold plunge.
To keep the water clean and hygienic, it’s essential to take a quick shower before getting into the cold plunge. This keeps the water fresh for everyone.
Please ensure you sit on the small towel provided each time you use the sauna - it’s there to catch your sweat so that it doesn’t stain the wooden seats and cause bacteria build up.
Make sure you stay hydrated - bring your own bottle of water and sip regularly once outside the sauna. We also provide water for you.
