AYURVEDIC WAYS TO STAY WELL IN AUTUMN
Give yourself a relaxing Abayanga full body and head massage with warm Vata oil - I do this after a shower and make sure to include my ears and feet. Abayanga means 'self-massage with oil' and this is one of my favourite rituals and something I have done several times a week since having Covid back in 2020. Traditionally you’d do this before a shower and then wash the oil off after resting for 20 minutes or so, but doing it this way works for me!
MY ORGANIC CACAO RECIPE
You make it pretty small and rich and it's dairy free, so the opposite of a tall milky hot chocolate. Think of it more as the espresso of sweet drinks. It’s not healthy per se but it does contain a number of great nutrients and is a balanced alternative treat to a traditional hot chocolate or chocolate bar.
I use organic raw cacao which is less processed and very different to cocoa in terms of nutritional content. It has a high magnesium content plus iron, antioxidants, zinc, copper, selenium and calcium.
